A highly experienced and effective sourcing leader to site sourcing organizations within a large Global Corporation, driving change and promoting 3P(Q)&L improvements, Emerging Economies strategic sourcing, supply risk mitigation and organizational development, covering many different commodities relating to both Industrial and Life Sciences markets.Working closely with site operations and regional operations leaders and their supply chain teams to achieve operational objectives of cost, quality, delivery, and inventory reduction by the application of world-class sourcing processes, supplier evaluation and selection tools, performance reporting, contract negotiation, price inflation management, and net cost savings.Responsible for 8 European manufacturing sites with a total BOM spend of $70m.Set and monitored European regional sourcing KPI’s, reducing European inventory by $13m (25%) over the last 2 years, achieving $2.4m (3.5% net of inflation) cost savings in Europe over the last fiscal year and increasing supplier average payment terms by over 10 days for all European sites therefore improving Working Capital.Responsible for the creation and direction of Emerging Economies sourcing teams in China, India, Latin America and Eastern Europe.Increased corporate Emerging Economies BOM spend from $28m to $53m in 2 years, including leveraging global supply capability for worldwide consumption.
