I have worked in the construction industry for over 27 years. For the last 22 years, I have worked as a professional quantity surveyor mainly specialising in the cost management of building engineering services. I worked overseas in Australia for six years and during this period, I worked in a dual role delivering both building engineering services and traditional quantity surveying services. This role involved mainly engineering services focused projects such as data centres and major plant refurbishment projects.I have a BSc (Hons) Degree from Heriot Watt University in Building Economics and Quantity Surveying. I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).Whilst my main focus is engineering services projects such as Data Centres and Major Plant Refurbishments; I have extensive and varied experience working in a variety of different project sectors including Commercial offices, Residential, Hotels, Industrial Warehouses, Retail and Infrastructure projects such as tunnels, substations and rail projects.
