Current· Manage a release engineering team that handles branches and code merges across 70+ branches across multiple products. Our team engages with our build infrastructure teams to resolve build breakages, discuss storage requirements, and long-term product improvements.· Managed global tests teams, reviewed test plans and testing scope to determine release timelines. Mentored test engineers by allow them the opportunity to learn automation, evaluate testing scope against content and timelines, and coach within our team.· Worked with the development and test organizations to implement a risk assessment process that allows for all bugs to be reviewed before approving them for a maintenance release. This allows for through code impact and analysis by development teams. This information is leveraged by the test teams to make their test plan. The process allows for an increase in software quality. This is measured by few customer defects.· Manage multiple concurrent releases. This includes working to create branches, merge paths, and communications to development organization on release expectations. In support of these releases, I run daily bug scrubs to review all bugs found during testing to determine if they are blockers and assist to get them resolved.
