A 19-year veteran craftsman in the custom tile industry, I am now in full-time ministry at Ventura Baptist Church. Currently, I serve the church as Pastor of Congregational Care and Outreach. My work is focused on the spiritual and communal health of the congregation as a unit and facilitating inter-congregational unity and fellowship through spiritual and pastoral guidance, crisis care, and communal service facilitation. Additionally, I am seeking to mobilize the congregation toward community engagement that amplifies the gospel message in our town and surrounding communities by expanding our circle of influence into all social strata. In this endeavor, we as a congregation have become involved with CarePortal, Kids Hope USA, and Reach the Forgotten Ministries. My heart is for making the gospel known in both traditional and creative ways. A message as important and as good as the "power of God for salvation" should be brought to all people by all means. I believe its adherents should also adorn it with a passionate and festal gathering marked by spiritual fellowship, sacrificial hospitality, and self-denying service. I believe the joy of the Lord is our strength, and sin & Satan are our only true enemies.
