I worked with Twincon where I designed and constructed a prototype electromagnet to be used in a demagnetisation process to improve the yield of Reused Tyre Steel Fibres (RTSFs) for use in reinforced concrete.

At Headswap I was involved in key discussions to help direct the company through multiple growth channels. This includes marketing techniques, including business to business (B2B), search engine optomisation (SEO) and social media events.

This one month project investigated the magnetic characterisation and demagnetisation of recycled steel fibres for improved yield in a recycling plant. Further, I provided consultancy work for implantation of a demagnetisation process within the processing line.

My PhD research was in the area of "Voltage Control of Magnetism", which required me to carry out a thorough literature review in this area and find spaces where new research could be done. Whist studying at Cranfield University I learnt a lot of new theory, which I had not learnt during my undergraduate degree. The topics were more applicable to real life problems and solutions, some examples include an introductory module to materials engineering, manufacturing modules and a module on general management; which helped me learn great techniques for managing teams. The main focus on my masters degrees was on nanoscale functional devices and manufacturing processing.
