I have a passion for intersecting my technology and artist skills and using them to create products that make people's live better. I love reading for growth and finding inspiration to better myself as a designer and artist. My favorite quote is attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci:"To Develop a complete mind: Study the Art of Science; Study the Science of Art. Develop your senses - especially learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else". This quote has led me down the endlessly interesting path of User Experience design.I started my UX journey in 2015 when I was working 20 hours a week at John Deere in addition to my studying my double majors in Computer Science and Painting. I quickly found a professional mentor in UX Design at John Deere where I received my first training. From 2018-2024, I led over 24 projects from concept to implementation, which consisted of inventory tracking, factory systems, ordering systems, Planning tools, design guidelines, Figma & React components, user analytics tooling and more.

In this role, I am helped to establish and perform in a fully functional and interdisciplinary UX team which followed an Agile Operating Model. I supported four product teams in addition to being part of the UX team. My efforts were focused on Dealership software that helped track, manage and order equipment as well as the incentives dealers received from John Deere to help push product. I specialize in Figma mockups and Prototypes, but I also led and contributed to several research efforts which often consisted of User Interviews or Usability Testing.

• Redesigned the internal transition solution from MS Access and Excel tables to an updated solution utilizing SAP Fiori external standards and best practices for SAP UI5 to enable transition data transfer into Sales Center.• Driven R&D into issues with old existing Icon Solution and designed an optimized React component SVG Icon Solution, enabling consistency via a common icon component using React props and CSS Variables.• Spearheaded potential ways to integrate transportation management into Sales Center. Designed and prototyped three separate InVision mockup flows shown to dealers and leadership to drive further decisions.• Designed the prototype, wrote the script, facilitated the usability testing with Dealers, and did a qualitative user research for the Account-Term Note testing at JDUG, focused on delivering stakeholders key-actionables.• Enforce Responsive Design initiative to better support tablet and mobile. o Presented (Responsive 101) class and dictated CSS Grid and breakpoints for software development.• Created mobile mockups and prototypes (over 150 designs) with a strong attention to detail to give developers communications and guidance on mobile expectations from the user experience design team.• Designed reusable component specifications to ensure Sales Center will give our users consistent experiences. In addition, providing UX requirements to a group of specialized Individuals driving the components initiative.• Manage and maintain the OM Design files and prototypes which consist of 130 different InVision repos, over 300 Sketch files, and over 7,000 artboards which align with Deere’s UX Design System and Brand standards.• Headed OM UX team’s communications with developers via Flowdock – providing quick turn arounds (Agile) for mockups, prototypes, user interface behavior, and design spec’s when needed – increasing UX impact.• Collaborate on the UX Agile blueprint model that has been refined since integrating Rally User Stories.
