Research involved the use of mass spectrometry-based lipidomic techniques to investigate the functional role of bioactive lipids in health and disease, with particular emphasis on their role in the skin.

Summer Work Experience: Shadowed several employees and undertook my own projects during a 6 week placement. Involved regular collaboration with members of the local and international Shire Pharmaceutical network, ensuring that products met both internal and industry quality standards.
