The key aspects of this role were :- responsibility across Wiley's portfolio for the 4 sales directors and their teams across C/E Europe and MEA- development of new, funder-led project opportunities in emerging country markets- driving strategy linking 'philanthropic' initiatives with responsible transition to commercial activity in 80+ lower-GDP markets- Expansion of staffing and local offices and leading growth averaging around 10% annually on a substantial revenue base

This role enabled me to :- lead successfully a growing team from an initial UK base to being on-territory across EMEA- grow the ejournal, ebook and related business into academia, government and corporates each year, exceeding targets in 7 out of 8 years; and this on a revenue base of well over $100m- establish deep connections to and understanding of major institutional customers and the assorted channels from consortia to partner agents to platform intermediaries
