Position: Operations Director Report to: Founder & CEOSubordinate: Production Manager, Testing Manager, Process Engineering Manager, Quality Manger, NPI Manger, Planning Manager, Purchasing ManagerNumber of Staff: 300Product: Electro-Mechanical Assembly (Box Build), Configure to Order Assembly & TestRevenue: $40-50M per QuarterResponsibilities: Quality management: Deliver the products to customer with high quality standard On time delivery: Make sure the products be shipped by plan Operation cost control: Control the DL cost, reduce material scrap, reduce in-direct material cost, control spending, control inventory etc. Set the target and monitoring the performance Capacity readiness: Prepare the resource to meet the demand fluctuation requirement, allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity NPI management: Work with R&D team to introduce the new product, establish manufacture process, identify the design weakness and drive for improvement Supply Chain management: Establish new supplier qualification process, Buffer stock for long lead time parts New factory build: Identify new factory facility requirement, Process flow, layout etc.  Safety management: Introduce LOTO safety production process Talent Management: Manage and develop talent pool Achievements: Establish NPI process to bridge R&D and Mass production Establish new supplier qualification process Establish alternative part qualification process Redefine the process to increase 25% output, reduce new employee training lead time
