I work in Cybersecurity because I love discovering the new questions need to be asked. From the initial triage of an investigation where I am searching for indicators of compromise to the post-intrusion reflection where we are tracking the singular detection against a larger campaign by a particular Threat Actor, I love the knowledge gained from each part. In college, I did l internships in multiple domains of Cyber because I was curious. Now I found it has strengthened my skills. I may have been working DFIR, uninstalling coinminers from Log4J exploitation, but I also knew how hard the Database Administrators were working to secure their endpoints from when I worked in AppSec. I find my knowledge in different domains a strength and asset for any team.I’ve been working in Cyber since 2017, and have learned two things. - To grow is to fail.- If you are going to fail, fail up. With this in mind, I love mentoring all who come across my feed, gladly taking a coffee chat over Zoom for anybody who needs it!
