I have extensive experience in health care chaplaincy and pastoral ministry. I have a passion for caring for people in crisis. My baseline conviction is that God Loves All and seeks reconciliation with his creation. Within the local church I am able to proclaim that conviction from the pulpit and lectern with specific reference to the Christian story. Within the health care chaplaincy setting I communicate the love of God through my unconditional positive regard for the persons I have been given to serve.I am aware of and competent in the documentation requirements for federal and state regulators of hospice organizations. I am able to function as an effective and professional member of an interdisciplinary care team. I have reported directly to the Director of Quality Management at a hospital and have worked as a member of a team that successfully secured Joint Commission accreditation for that hospital. I am familiar with the work of an Ethics Advisory Committee and an Institutional Review Board.
