Jonathan Anaja Matthias is an EDGE Expert and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Global Project Management Institute (PMI) USA. He has over 10 years experience in Project initiation, project appraisal, case study and financial analysis. His background is in Architecture and he has over the years acquired the knowledge and skill set that has enhanced his making informed project management decisions. He holds an MBA in Finance and Investment.He currently works with The Millard Fuller Foundation, an affordable housing organization and advocate near Abuja- Nigeria, where his primary responsibility as Head of Project Management Office (PMO) is to design, plan, monitor and control the organization’s projects to ensure effective delivery in accordance with set baselines. He has in the last 8 years built and led a vibrant team of construction project officers, assistants and supervisors in the delivery of over 1000 units of affordable housing which has won the FESADEB Abuja International Housing Show award for Best Affordable Housing project of the year 2016, 2017, 2018 and most recently in 2021. The project also won the 2019 award for the cheapest house in Africa built by a private developer (Award by CAHF – Centre for Affordable Housing Finance based in Johannesburg, South Africa).His most recent work (a 248 housing estate) was commissioned by His Excellency, The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Friday 11th February 2022 at Luvu-Madaki, Masaka, off Abuja-Keffi road.Working closely with senior Management, he has been involved in project initiation both locally and internationally which has attracted funding worth over 7,500,000USD (Cumulatively) from partnerships locally and internationally. Jonathan is a self-motivated, structured and astute Project Manager with excellent Planning, coordination and analytical skills.Jonathan, also has a passion for coaching individuals and helping organizations predict and repeat project success through provision of Comprehensive Project Management Services and Solutions, ensuring that both the project and strategic objectives of an organization are met.He facilitates Project Management staff refreshers course and induction programmes for organizations.Being a logical, structured and astute thinker, he has from his experiences developed a framework of seasoned and rich organizational process asset and training curriculum with live project illustrations that makes every concept in his training sessions interactive, simple and easy to relate with.
