Within the public sector, I have successfully led low value and OJEU compliant procurement projects within the business & professional services, skills development and housing improvement categories, delivering timely outcomes and maximising value for money. Delivering successful procurement outcomes has been dependent on developing accurate and relevant project specifications, accurate bid and evaluation documentation and training evaluators to properly understand how project evaluation should be completed. Through voluntary and charity work, I have worked hard to engage with people from all walks of life to obtain results appropriate to the project in hand: this knowledge transfers into procurement & bid writing where an external perspective can bring new thinking to existing bid processes.
