I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Diego State University, which is where I can say that I had the honor of building my foundational knowledge in areas such as digital marketing and social media management. In addition to my Bachelor’s Degree, I am currently pursuing a Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, which is further enhancing my ability to make data-driven decisions for marketing strategies and social media efforts. On my free time, I am also working on other career-building courses here on LinkedIn Learning !I am also experienced in sales. After my time at SDSU, I wanted to pursue a career in sales, so I began my sales career in the fashion industry. I wanted to be passionate about what I was selling and I wanted to start in a niche, so I chose Solstice Sunglasses. I learned that if I got excited about the product, it would be easier for me to sell it to the client and I also learned that I love a good pair of Tom Fords’. After learning everything I possibly could from selling sunglasses, I took my sales career to Vince because I was not familiar with the brand at all. I did not want to sell something I had loved my whole life, rather challenge myself to learn about a new brand. Now I sell the brand based on its quality and timeless designs.After some time in sales, I wanted to go back to my roots of marketing by first seeking professional hands-on experience. So I returned to SDSU to take part in an internship where I served as a Digital Marketing Specialist for the Aztec’s Women’s Basketball team. This opportunity awarded me the unique experience of what it's like to launch a brand into the social media hemisphere.During this time, I also began an opportunity to serve as Marketing Specialist for Pacific States Land Company. It is a busy Fall for me and I am loving it !
