I am currently a Director of Talent Acquisition for Research and Innovation, Operations Development and Packaging Engineering at L'Oréal. I'm excited to work with and find scientists, researchers, and engineers who have a passion for solving problems and creating new and exciting products and formulas at all stages of development for the world's #1 beauty-tech company. My technical background is in inorganic chemistry, where my PhD thesis focused on photochemistry and photocatatlyic applications of transition metal complexes, specifically Iridium, for renewable energy and photoredox applications. Previously, I was an Assistant Teaching Professor of Chemistry at Drew University in Madison, NJ. I taught lectures and laboratories in General Chemistry as well as Biochemistry . I engaged student learning using active learning strategies, guided inquiry (POGIL), group work, and self-assessment exercises.
