Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory supports nuclear propulsion systems for U.S. Navy ships by designing the worlds most technologically advanced, safe and reliable reactor plants and systems. Designs, tests, deploy, and supports Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems of both existing and next generation reactor plants. These I&C systems perform reactor protection and control safety critical functions, demanding the highest degree of quality and reliability. - Subject matter expert on design, operation and maintenance of an advanced I&C system.- Defines system level requirements supporting I&C system design changes/modifications.- Reviews vendor’s detailed design ensuring system requirements are being fulfilled- Develops, evaluates and tests I&C concepts supporting next generation applications- Laboratory tests equipment verifying technical adequacy and ensuring robustness of design- Supporting the training of Navy personnel on the design, operation, and maintenance of I&C systems- Provides emergent support including troubleshoot and issue resolution associated with advanced I&C systems.- Develops technical and programmatic recommendations/reports integrated across multiple technical disciplines.

-Design and lecture a course on Digital Logic Circuits.-Provide tutoring in mathematics for all offered mathematics units.-Act as Student Government adviser.-Consult IT and CS department on implementation of microprocessors.

Coordinate campus programming, manage student representation to administration, work with college president on campus development.

· Test and repair electronic medical equipment maintaining thorough testing methods.· Build complex electronic equipment utilizing a full array of assembly equipment.· Analyze circuits and schematics utilizing circuit theory and problem solving to debug assemblies.· Maintain meticulous record of parts and procedures in compliance with MSI and vendor quality assurance.
