I’m a business and craft minded design leader with over 15 years of experience building products and managing design teams. I enjoy making space for exceptional craft to flourish and creating products that people absolutely love to use.At Patreon, I led Consumer Product Design with end-to-end responsibility for our new mobile app, community product, content creation and consumption experience, web experience, and design system.Some other things I’ve created in the past: At Facebook I designed key aspects of the photos experience on mobile and web used by billions of people, brought to life core experiences for the communities product, and led the design team for Facebook’s first AI hardware product, Portal, where we built a completely new end-to-end operating system. At Cruise, I managed teams that created early versions of the company’s driverless rider experience and AI tooling suite. Beyond these roles, I'm actively involved with RISD in Tech, supporting alumni transitioning into design in tech. I also lend my expertise to select Bay Area startups and contribute to the California Leadership Council for the Nature Conservancy.A personal favorite project includes co-founding xDesign at Harvard, a design conference now in its 11th year.
