As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at the Royal Navy, I have been responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, quality, safety, and husbandry for the UK's most advanced aircraft, the F-35B Lightning II. I have 8.5 years of experience in the Royal Navy, with the last 3 years as a supervisor, including a 3-year deployment working with the United States Marine Corps in Beaufort, South Carolina.I am highly motivated and diligent, with extensive skills in conducting scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification, testing, inspections, and quality control on military aircraft. I am an excellent team player and effective communicator, with a varied and adaptable skill set that enables me to meet the challenging demands of a fast-paced dynamic military flying squadron. Having now left the Royal Navy, I have began my journey into the civilian world as a Maintenance Engineer at AO recycling in Telford. In this role I am responsible for completing scheduled maintenance conditioning reports and any corrective/reactive work required on the automated fridge recycling plant.
