Case Manager
Current• As a case manager, I conduct quality control reviews for claims investigations to ensure that case objectives and deadlines are met. • I manage a team of more than 30 field investigators in three different states and provide oversight, guidance and direction for conflict resolution while they are in the field. My responsibilities include effective production and performance management of the team’s schedules, review of case reports and invoicing, and written and verbal updates to the clients on a continual basis. • I collaboratively work with the field staff, client and upper management and office administration regarding case progress to provide strategic recommendations for next steps. Employee management consists of approving payroll, expenses, budgets, scheduling, and quarterly employee reviews and evaluations. • Prior to my promotion to case manager, I served as a field investigator where I conducted in depth surveillance and investigations on general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation coverage and fraud cases for a variety of clients for the Tri-State area. I wrote detailed narrative reports coupled with covert video surveillances and photographs to document the claimants’ activities.• I am specialized, trained and certified to conduct surveillance and claims investigations, activity checks, background checks and fraud investigations, then create in-depth case reports for clients.• Additionally, I was the sole field trainer for the Western NY region. I mentored and trained all new field investigator recruits on the skills necessary to conduct viable investigations, such as tactics, reporting, case documentation and strategy.
