I will admit, I was not a great employee during my stay with ArcelorMittal. Although the job description was very interesting, after starting there there wasn't much work for me to do daily, we spent the majority of our days in meetings, and I found the company was not open to improving inefficient process'. On top of that, there was zero clear path from management on upward trajectory from a career or salary standpoint. I had to step away to pursue starting my own company. • Built the first ever in-field data capture app using Microsoft Power Apps where users in the field could use an iPad to track time on moving material out of the yard or unloading/loading a vessel. After capturing this data they could submit it which would could then be viewed by the Supply Chain group.

Bitcoin miners are called ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) where the chips within the miners are designed to do one task very efficiently. These machines require a lot of energy and have cooling fans that produce a significant amount of noise. Running these machines typically can be done where adequate air flow can be provided and noise is not a concern. Another way to run these machines is in dielectric fluid where it eliminates all noise, extends the life of the miners, and can keep the running machines cooler in hot environments. Immersion has become a very popular route to take, especially in Texas where the summer months can sustain in the 100-110F degrees every day for months. Rhodium Enterprises specialized in immersion Bitcoin mining and my job was to provide full coverage of the site and be able to dynamically react to immediate emergencies on-site. It was my responsibility to identify reoccurring patterns on site whether it be with miners (error codes), heat, infrastructure, or electricity.• Ran and operated a 100MW Bitcoin mining immersion site• Studied ASIC behavior in varying temperature differences across extended timelines• Diagnosed and repaired ASIC's by replacing parts, pulling hashboards, or updating firmware• Conducted several experiments downtuning ASIC's to alleviate specific breaker thresholds (amperage)• Worked with site electricians to gain knowledge on substations, transformers, LIS, and switchboards• Monitored ERCOT supply and demand metrics daily along with MW market prices• Discovered a potential fatal flaw affecting the miners performance in higher temperatures• Independently identified and resolved the worst on-site incident running solo on the weekend• Performed site shutdowns and ramp ups routinely with one other colleague• Designed detailed overviews of site, infrastructure systems, and electrical components• Utilized miners graphical user interface to identify faults in hashboards, PSU's, and firmware

When I first joined Tidal Energy Marketing (U.S.) LLC there was a massive problem reconciling month to month discrepancies in the monthly accrual. Between accrual vs. actuals from prior month and current month trades flowing through inventory WACOG it was impossible forecasting our PnL. After re-designing the way in which we book deals I worked with DevOps to utilize our deal capture systems data to give the front office live future month accrual PnL estimates. This dramatically improved our forecasting / budgeting process which affected decisions made at the top of company. I also ran the monthly accrual meeting for the front office outlining deal economics per region. I was the go to front office accounting liaison for management, risk, and crude traders. After joining the scheduling team managing our Seaway Pipeline, Flanagan South Pipeline, and ECHO assets I discovered a very inefficient process managing batch schedules. We received various schedules per pipeline and tracking this daily was an extremely manual process. I built and designed a better tracking mechanism and worked with DevOps to be able to dump the daily schedules into an organized sheet that added in estimated delivery dates per batch across our systems. This significantly improved my ability to rearrange batches for our counter-parties and reconcile them with the pipeline. • Mid-continent, Cushing, and gulf coast physical crude pipeline and storage scheduler• Assist gulf coast refiners with just in time barrels and logistical solutions• Submit monthly pipeline and terminal nominations based on business demands• Prepare all Tidal US forecast / budgets for individual pipelines and specific strategies for upper management• Create physical and financial hedging models in excel to outline deal implications• Manage and report US Customs / DOE / NEB / EIA census filings weekly and monthly• Work with traders on explaining their regions results and how hedging / inventory is affecting their PnL

Upon passing these exams I traveled to New Jersey for a 1 week training seminar to prepare for going into production.
