DFAST is a regulatory framework that has been designed by the Federal Reserve Bank in order to assess, regulate and supervise banks with $50bn or less in assets. This process will initially locate sources of new risks and updates to existing risks that should be captured within the forecasting process. Responsible for the DFAST Business Requirements which will work as a means to implement the DFAST program. Managed the development of central data repository (CDR) that will store all finance, market risk and credit risk data along with the macro economic variables in a common place. Activities include Database administration and data modeling using Erwin. Develop, document and maintain logical and physical data models that reflect the existing environment. SQL Server Backend. Source Data for model development – implemented a fully-functioning system to monitor, store and control data centrally. The centralized data repository will help improve data quality and processing efficiencies. The CDR was built to store data from multiple sources. An ETL process was developed using T-SQL and stored procedures in addition to linked servers. A comprehensive reconciliation framework was developed and managed by myself to compare data stored in the CDR back to the sources (.xls, xlsx, txt, csv, etc) using SAS. Review data sources and assess data quality. During the model execution cycle, the DFAST SAS model sourced the data from the central repository into the model execution platform. The projection results stored in the CDR will produce the FR-Y16 report.  SAS Risk and Financial Workbench (RFW) is the main platform being used along with the MS SQL Server. Performed data analysis, model execution, platform dashboard to view input, output data, audit data and approve workflows and reporting using predefined input and what-if analysis, ad-hoc analysis.
