Team lead for a number of projects of varying size. Duties include working with business and analysts to help gather and refine requirements, design application architecture, assist with data design work, write user stories, scrum master duties, assist QA, configure third party software, and write code.

Work with small development team to create and maintain a suite of web applications used by both internal and external users to assist in the logistics of ordering items and moving these items from distribution centers to stores in the food service industry. AIMS currently consists of a custom framework, portal application, and several separate applications. Personally involved in all aspects of software life-cycle, from requirements gathering to development and deployment to maintenance and support for all parts of AIMS.

Assisted in the creation of an enterprise architecture group. Led effort for developing and determining technical architecture to be used for all custom development. Authored several foundation documents for use by development teams, covering the topics of reference technical architecture, .NET coding guidelines and best practices, .NET coding standards, SQL coding standards, source control standards and processes, framework quick start, and review process and tracking. Lead presentations to help with learning and adopting new standards and technical learning sessions to management and development teams. o Work with development teams to assist in design and development of applications as well as perform design and code reviews of applications. o Administer TFS and determine the best ways to use TFS as a source control tool for both .NET applications and applications that do not directly integrate with TFS, such as Cognos. Work with QA and development teams in order to determine how to use and customize TFS for bug tracking and testing processes. o Designed and implemented a global custom error handling and logging solution. The solution provides functions in the framework as well as service calls that applications can use to log events, information, or errors to a central custom database. Support teams can view all logged items via a web application. The web application allows the log items to be searched and filtered as well as provides functionality for maintaining system data.
