I've been working within healthcare industry for the last 11 years, as a coding, billing, and authorization specialist. During that time I was able to gain medical terminology, customer care experience, coding and billing experience, I do speak with suppliers, customers and stakeholders on daily basis. I'm able to read, understand and verify medical records, handle confidential information, identify if the procedures that were made during a hospitalization period are useful to treat a patient condition, know about general medication, and specifically anesthesia. I can handle complex billing queries, delivering detailed oriented analysis, in order to deliver a high standard work. I handle authorization procedures for complex or high pricing medical treatments that requires previous authorization in order to be performed. I do participate throw the hole process from the initial requirements to the final acceptance, performing a follow up until is finished.
