The Electric Aquatic Club brought a collection of unique cultural events to the lakes west of Austin, Texas. After nine successful voyages aboard a double-decker pleasure cruiser, the EAC hosted hundreds of guests, a dozen musical acts, a dozen sponsors, future spouses, creative forces, business partners, etc. Nice times.

I worked with a number of factions of South By Southwest on a volunteer, and on a contract basis with a number of sponsoring organizations (R/GA, Gowalla, etc) during the March event. My roles were varied and included: accompanying artists and presenters to special events, dressing up as a 7-foot kangaroo for a launch party, taking NYC ad execs on a double decker bus tour of Austin, setting up a/v equipment, standing in the pouring rain for undirected hours, and eating a sandwich with Solange Knowles. Fast times.
