◾ Lead QA engineer for mail server component of AppleShare IP 5.0, 6.0, 6.1, & 6.2, a product integrating File, HTTP, FTP, Mail and Print servers.◾ Responsible for defining test matrices, delegating testing coverage and training other testers. Covered functional, reliability, stress, and destructive testing. Entered and tracked bugs in a database.◾ Worked with engineers on a daily basis to resolve bugs, develop new product features, and assist in human interface decisions.◾ Coordinated quicklooks on each new integrated build of all ASIP components.◾ Set up and maintained lab equipment and DNS network services.◾ Ran Netbench file performance suite.◾ Handled customer escalations from support and monitored the AppleShare IP listserver discussion group.◾ Involved in Operating System (Mac OS 7.5, 8.0, 8.1, 8.5), hardware qualification, updater, and third party client integration testing.◾ Performed low-level protocol verification of SMTP, POP, & IMAP using telnet.◾ Designed an automated mail test tool (Newman) and wrote all mail protocol scripts.◾ Assisted in the design of IP filtering application, qualified web-based remote administration CGI.◾ Reviewed documentation and authored FAQ's for the ASIP website. Delivered multiple presentations at MacWorld Expos. Wrote an advanced administration guide to ASIP mail.
