About Jonathan Byars
I am driven by a desire to design solutions that utilize the proper infrastructure and applications to bring efficiencies to the workplace. For the last ten years, I have worked exclusively with Cloud based solutions, for the Pharmaceutical Industry. I began my career with a science background and managed both Microbiological and Chemical Laboratories involved with municipal drinking water production. At the same time, I became interested in the use of computers to streamline the necessary paperwork of laboratory analysis. The interest in computer systems, applications and the efficiencies that they provided led to work within the IT Industry. After the transition into the IT Industry, I found my passion of working with business users to analyze and design process flows as well as create solutions for their Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and collaboration requirements. The solutions that I create are globally reaching Cloud Based RIM solutions for the top Pharmaceutical companies. I have excelled in integrating systems and people to help move businesses toward a productive and efficient future. I am not bound to any one particular vendor because I know that all have their strengths and proper insertion points to achieve the correct end results. The scale of a solution is dependent upon the aspirations of the company, foreseeable economic future and the employees that will carry the weight.I have experience working with customers both large and small. In every situation, the end result is the same. Make the business run as smoothly and efficiently as possible through the proper use of technology and that will show results of both hard and soft savings.Specialties: Veeva Vault (RIM, Commercial, OLS), Documentum, Captiva, FileNet, Microsoft, Oracle, UNIX, Linux, Sun, Biological / Chemical Sciences, Banking, loan processing, Manufacturing, Retail, contract / price negotiations, applications, databases, Operating Systems, servers, PCs, document imaging, SAN, NAS, RAID, optical disc jukeboxes, tapes, management, project management, sales, pre-sales, business analysis, infrastructure design, solution design, performance tuning.
