Uber taught me the importance of data, talent density, cross-team collaboration, and productive conflict. We grew unbelievably quickly, and I had the opportunity to manage several highly-productive teams with objectives ranging from closing sports partnerships to executing global marketing stunts to developing multi-channel, personalized lifecycle programs. I was promoted three times in 2.5 years. Throughout my time at Uber I was rated bi-annually as performing in the top 15%, and as high as the top 2%, of peers globally.

After spending a year as a Major Gifts Officer, I was promoted to Director of Major Gifts. I led a Major Gifts team, made up of four major gifts officers and additional support staff, responsible for producing 92 percent of the College's annual income. My team raised well over $10 million during my time as Director.More specifically—in addition to managing 100+ caseload donors—I was responsible for designing and implementing a national strategy to continue the cultivation of PHC's existing 400+ major donors, develop and upgrade its 6,000+ donor base, and reach new audiences.To that end, I worked to innovate—both internally and externally—in order to extend the reach of PHC's mission and vision, and to improve the efficiency of the Major Gifts program's methods. Under my leadership, PHC developed:- a grantwriting program- a comprehensive e-marketing strategy- recurring regional donor events- alumni-outreach mechanisms - new metrics for tracking the effectiveness of development officers
