My company is built around collaboration because I think it best fits the true experience of building a home; whether the project is a new custom home, an addition or a renovation. I am a firm believer that no one party is wholly responsible for a successful completion. Each member of the team – client, architect/designer and builder has a special role that needs to be embraced by all. My personal experience over the last 16 years in the industry has taught me that the sooner this team is established, the better served the client will be. I value the vision that the designer brings to each project. Unlike most builders, I understand that my role is to support the architect/designer in the execution of their vision through feasibility, scope documentation, cost estimating and ultimately construction management. When appropriate, I do offer input on the constructability of a design but never on the design intent. Building trust through good organization, communication, quality construction and legitimate care for the client’s needs is what I strive for. No one slips through the cracks. Meetings and walk-throughs are scheduled regularly to assure the home is being built per plans and specifications. Changes are handled quickly and professionally.As stated above, I do care for each client. After all, they are paying me to build their home, so it is my duty to protect their investment.
