Engineering Program Manager for New Mexico State University's branch campus in Grants, NM. Created engineering program designed to satisfy the first two years of engineering education in New Mexico. Designed, procured, and built a multidisciplinary engineering laboratory including Tinius Olsen machine, high performance computing resources, environmental research, and surveying equipment.Managed a program budget, designed and taught courses, and employed several student researchers, along with managing a staff chemist, who acted as a TA for a number of the engineering and mathematics course I taught.I taught a variety of courses as part of the Engineer Program's course requirements. Many of these course were taught for the first time at NMSU Grants and I created the curriculum from scratch. Also, many of these courses were web enhanced and incorporated a variety of online learning resources that I designed and built. I wrote and won two NM EPSCoR proposals to develop introductory engineeringcurriculum incorporating supercomputing, 3D modeling, and visualization. I brought in over $40,000 in federal grant funds through collaboration with Santa FeCommunity College.I wrote and won NMSU Grants first National Science Foundation Grant under the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Program: $200,000.
