The Air Defence and Air Traffic Systems Delivery Team (ADATS DT) sits within the Director General Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance Cluster within the Ministry of Defence. With embedded enabling services of engineering, supply, commercial, technical, mechanical/electrical support and finance, the ADATS DT is made up of some 190 Service and Civilian personnel based at RAF Brampton, RAF Henlow and RAF SpadeadamDuties and Accomplishments:- Designed high profile wind farm PAR 2000 trials at RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Marham- Reinvigorated Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) Flight Checking Program - Rewrote and delivered SSR inspection regime utilizing RASS-S equipment- Contributed to Horns Rev Danish Lockheed Martin AN/TPS-77 and Clatter Wind Farm trials- Provided radar engineering expertise to rectify faults in performance of air traffic control and air defence systems across the MoD fleet- Conducted factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests for MoD Radar Systems- Provided radio signal propagation modelling with HTZ Warfare- Delivered annual CAA NISC reports detailing the condition of all ground based IFF/SSR systems
