• Responsible for the manufacturing and/or assembly of components being made into finished goods within a business unit or from specific production lines. Includes people management and budgetary/cost reporting. • Apply lean principles/techniques to reduce overall cost while maintaining quality levels above customer expectations. • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance• Identify business improvement opportunities within organization. • Effectively and efficiently manage the production of required daily/ weekly/monthly targets in line with customer expectations, minimizing cost where possible and ensuring best practices at all times. • Ensure daily targets are meet throughout the plant. • Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver products on time, including external resources when necessary. • Ensure operations are performed within accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies/procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors. • Attract, retain and motivate people to improve the company’s performance • Ensure the delivery of people strategy within area of accountability. • Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements. • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them • Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets and production plans.

• Plan and formulate aspects of research and development proposals such as objective or purpose of project, applications that can be used from findings, cost of project, and equipment/human resources requirements.• Manage the maintenance system in order to keep equipment and machinery at peak performance to assure effective and efficient operations.• Work with Technical Director to assure SOP for each key process and monitor results.• Run 6S program and assure plant is safe, clean, and organized.• Select, develop, train and supervise engineering staff.• Directs and reviews production cost and quality – modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain / enhance profitability of operations.• Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis. • Responsible for supporting the plant with projects, daily maintenance, and technical expertise.• Provide documentation solutions for projects, maintenance, and production needs, such as, CAD drawings and project specifications.• Within procedural guidelines, manage the execution of the project within budget and schedule.• Provide engineering management for projects relating to purchase, construction, installation, modifications, or movement of machines, equipment, building, ground, utilities, and other systems as required.• Assists associates in resolving any job-related problems or concerns to include P.I. (Process Improvement) process, quality, safety, equipment, and training.• Designs and develops systems and programs to support maintenance and production efforts.• Provides technical support on matters associated with regulatory compliance.• Performs as designee in support of Plant Engineer.• Manage contractors/vendors in the plant.• Supervise and manage projects for the project crew at Plant 4.• Performs other duties as directed by Plant Engineer.• Conducts Contractor Safety training for vendors/contractors.• Review contractor or vendor proposals for adequacy, economic considerations, and standardization of design.

• Attended multiple courses for leadership, self-improvement, and safety.

• Completed various projects for improving production and plant efficiency.• Designed and performed Finite Element Analysis on a cherry picker with a P.E. stamp of approval.• Designed and oversaw the implementation of all new staircases to comply with OSHA regulations.• Performed as CAD designer in support of Plant Engineer and Project Engineer.• Designed and developed systems and programs to support maintenance and production efforts.• Managed the execution of the project within budget and schedule.
