Operations NCOIC for an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) company in support of Operation Resolute Support; supervises operations protecting U.S. Special Operations Forces, Afghani Forces, and civilians from death or injury due to hazardous explosive devices; responsible for conducting Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) and providing identification, render safe, and disposal of Weapons of Mass Destruction and explosive hazards; trains U.S. and Afghani Forces;battle tracked the missions of six EOD teams deployed throughout three different districts; supervised 12 Soldiers.I was also the Operations Sergeant of an EOD Company; manages nine EOD Teams in support of I Corps and coordinates support and training to federal and local law enforcement/public safety authorities throughout 30,000 square miles of Western Washington state; plans, coordinates and executes administrative and logistical support to conduct METL focused training, ensuring Soldiers are trained and ready to support Homeland Response (HLR) mission requirements and military operations; coordinates support requirements to U.S. Secret Service (USSS) for protection of the President of the United States; manages and screens company's Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations and vouchers for validity and financial misconduct.

Responsible for planning, tasking, and coordination of all Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations related to achieving the fullest possible accounting of Americans unaccounted for as a result of our Nation's past conflicts; advises Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) Commander, Staff Officers and DoD Civilians regarding Unxeploded Ordnance hazards in relations to investigations and recovery operations; supervises four Non-Commisioned Officers and all joint-service EOD augmentees; manages the procurement, maintenance, storage, and accountability of $500,000 worth of EOD equipment; establishes and acrivates the deployment schedule for four organic and 110 non-organic EOD personnel spanning 12 countries.

Operations NCOIC for an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD0 company in support of Fort Carson, Pueblo Chemical Depot, and law enforcement agencies in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana; supervises operations protecting U.S. Coalition Forces and civilians from death or injuries due to hazardous explosive devices; responsible for conducting post blast investigations and providing identification, render safe, and disposal of Weapons of Mass Destruction and explosive hazards; trains U.S. military personnel; provides support to United States Secret Service and Department of State; supervises eight Soldiers.

I perform duties locating, identifying, rendering safe and disposing of foreign and domestic conventional, biological, chemical, or nuclear ordnance and IEDs; WMDs and large vehicle bombs; I conduct intelligence gathering operations on first seen ordnance and IEDs, and support very important persons (VIP) missions for the U.S. Secret Service, State Department and other Federal agencies.Research and identifies ordnance using explosive ordnance disposal technical publications. Detects the presence of and identifies chemical agents. Prepares and maintains explosive ordnance disposal tools, equipment, and vehicles. Assists in operating an Emergency Contamination Control Station and Emergency Personnel Decontamination Station. Assists in locating and gaining access to buried ordnance. Supervise and provides technical guidance to less experience soldiers. Performs radiological monitoring. Reads and interprets x-rays, diagrams, drawings, and other technical information on explosive ordnance. Conducts formal instruction to military and civilian audiences. Assists with the administrative duties necessary to support unit operations. Assists in preparing technical intelligence and incident reports.
