Gas Trader- Procure gas for 6 plants within the Entergy system. - Responsible for managing pipeline and supplier agreements for those 6 plants. - Manage gas flows and pressures between multiple pipelines to ensure reliability to a group of plants that serve a load pocket zone within our electric system. - Assisted in developing a new trading and accounting process utilizing PowerQuery, Macros, and BOT technology to stream line deal entry for all traders.Gas Scheduling: - Coordinated nomination volumes with traders for every Entergy Natural Gas Plant.- Interact with various counterparties through ICE Chat to confirm nomination volumes.- Nominate volumes on pipeline EBB's (Columbia Pipeline, Gulf South Pipeline, Tetco, Enable, Tennessee Gas, Mid Louisiana Pipeline) in a timely manner in accordance with appropriate nomination cycle. - Manage pipeline cuts throughout each gas day cycle.- Develop various process improvements to the gas scheduling process.Coal Supply- Support the development and execution of fuel procurement strategies.- Closely work with plant operations, railroads, and supplier to coordinate fuel deliveries and manage inventory levels.- Develop short and long term inventory forecasts.- Assist in ensuring the accuracy of fuel related data in RCMS to support back office functions.- Support management in various fuel audit requests.- Create various statistical analysis workbooks based on needs from management.- Develop and integrated UP demurrage reconciliation process.- Improve daily processes such as BNSF demurrage process, re-developing and automating inventory forecast workbooks, and automating various weekly/monthly reports.- Fleet management: Managed set out railcars at each coal plant and coordinate with external counterparties and the railroad to repair and remove the cars from the plant.

- Investigate and resolve issues related to GMS SCADA and MV90 to ensure meter data quality is accurate.- Work with neighboring Balancing Authorities, Embedded Entities, MISO Market Participants, LBA Real Time Operations, and other applicable groups to confirm meter data submissions- Maintain and configure Energy Accounting tool to comply with Commercial Model updates as well as new projects, facility studies, and routine updates- Calculate and submit MISO Commercial Pricing Nodes within MISO settlement calendar on behalf of Entergy and any contracted customers that require a Meter Data Management Agency - Interact with the IT organization on the development and maintenance of IT-supported tools and processes- Develop procedures to ensure compliance with MISO requirements- Support both MISO’s Market Settlements function and Entergy’s shadow settlements function and the related reporting and data processing through the use of various business systems to ensure settlements accuracy.
