I am passionate about gracious hospitality, connecting with people, and combining these two passions to impact the world around me and beyond. I began my career in hospitality at a resort in Panama City Beach, Florida. For a summer during college I dressed like a pirate and greeted kids and their families. After two weeks, I realized that my pirate eye-patch was deteriorating my eyesight in my right eye! Thankfully my supervisor allowed me to drop that part of the “uniform” HA! I have spent the rest of my career in the hospitality industry at PCH Hotels & Resorts. I have the privilege of serving our ambassadors and guests as the Director of Sales & Marketing, where my uniform typically consists of a suit and tie and no eye-patch! Our team at Renaissance Ross Bridge consistently ranks as one of the best in the Renaissance brand year after year. Our sales team is a tight-knit team of industry veterans and crushes our goals year after year. I am serving a two year term (23-24) as the Chairman of the Board for CAHABA (Central Alabama’s Hospitality, Attractions, and Business Association). Along with this role I am serving a two year term on the board of the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau. I serve on the Customer Experience Advisory Board for the University of North Alabama. Over the past few years I have had the privilege of speaking to universities, industry organizations, and other various groups on a wide range of topics surrounding the needs and future of the hospitality industry. I count it a joy to educate and inspire the current and next generation of hospitality professionals.
