In my second term as a modular power system intern, I expanded upon the skills developed in my first summer. I continued and further developed, my work in CAD design, completed an analysis of multiple modular electronics standards, ultimately narrowing down the options to the most optimal standard. In addition, I completed a system redesign overhaul resulting in a mass savings of over 40%. Finally, I aided in the vibration testing of electronic PCBs to determine their natural frequencies.

Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

In my previous position as an AMPS intern at NASA, I was tasked with creating many SolidWorks drawings, parts, and assemblies, as well as prototyping these designs using resin and extrusion 3D printers, in addition to working on multiple interdisciplinary teams of engineers. Among those items designed was a mock-up spacecraft habitat that was later constructed and used for housing and display of power distribution racks.
