Lead optimization of current and development of future generation ATVs and Side-by-sides (Sxs) on a team responsible for power producing bolt-on engine components. This team was the Power Performance team, and was responsible for systems like air intake, exhaust system, fuel system, cooling system, cable systems, and driver controls. Honda Powersports Vehicles work on include Talon, Pioneer, and TRX250. Projects included-Fuel System Revision-Pedalbox Redesign-Throttle System Optimization-Canister System (California Type)

I headed the design, simulation, and manufacturing of Pitt's Formula SAE braking system. This task included (using SolidWorks) conceptualizing and the CAD modeling entire assembly (over 50 components), routing brake lines within this assembly and accordance to the rules and chassis design, designing floating brake rotors, designing floating rotor carriers, designing rotor pins (often referred to as buttons), packaging and designing brake pedal and master cylinder assembly for space constraints, creating technical drawings of each part, and creating a master BOM of over 50 components in brake system. After designing the rotor, carrier, and pin, ANSYS Workbench Thermal and Structural simulation was carried out to ensure reliability and guard against failure.

I earned the privilege of piloting Pitt's Formula SAE cars during testing days, and at our numerous intercollegiate competitions. I have driven at 9 international competitions, and led our team to a team-record 11th place finish at Michigan International Speedway in 2016.
