Current- Manager of the Perception Product team (4 PMs and 200 engineers). The team is jointly responsible for all Perception for the AV including Pedestrians, Cyclists, Vehicles, FOD, Construction, Audio, Filtering, Traffic Controls, and Weather- Launched driverless robotaxi services in Phoenix (2019), San Francisco (2021), Los Angeles (2023), and Austin (2024) with over 2 million rides (50k weekly) and 700 cars- Key Safety metrics: 3.5 times better at avoiding injury crashes than compared to if a human driver, eliminated insurance claims for collision-related injuries and reduced claim frequency for property damage by 76% (over 3.8 million miles of fully autonomous driving)- Developed Perception platforms for Chrystler Pacifica, Jaguar iPace, and Zeekr vehicles- Product Lead for Perception Foundational Models- Patents: Gaze and awareness prediction using a neural network model (US20230059370A1)Always looking for talented and motivated people to join the PM team at Waymo.
