I provide tier 2 support for between 300 and 400 machines (client PCs and servers) for five Iowa Radiology clinics, 16 hospital radiology departments, and several independent clinics. Support has included Windows XP, 7, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, CentOS and all the software, hardware and peripherals that it entails. I also support the Shoretel phone system for our office and the five clinics and maintain our MySQL and Microsoft SQL databases.Specific clinical applications that I support include Merge Financials, Imagine Financials, Merge PACS, Merge RIS, McKesson PACS, TeraRecon, Vitrea, OnBase, Merge Document Management, Phreesia, and PowerScribe360. I work with the HL7 protocol in the Iguana interface engine. This includes modifying HL7 messages.I provide basic database administration for our Nighthawk order entry website, interface database, and for our internal web pages. I also modify and update our internal web pages to keep the information, functionality, and appearance up-to-date. In addition, I maintain IT's internal documentation.Other responsibilities include being a member of the security committee, educating staff about security, creating documentation of hardware, software and processes (new and old), finding or creating new solutions (software, hardware, or process) to new and old problems, purchasing hardware and software, and communicating new problems to the rest of the team and our clients.

Traveled around the state providing education, training and support for Iowa's new proprietary EDMS application package as it went live.

Provided support for RuffaloCODY's proprietary software. This included answering calls and troubleshooting issues clients have with the software, educating users, and using SQL to obtain and alter data in Oracle databases. Tools used to access client servers include Windows VPN, Cisco VPN, Web VPN, Remote Desktop and Webex.
