The Trust itself had a staff count of around 4000, not including external workers such as contractors. In order for any project, small or large to be carried out smoothly, co-ordination and communication was vital.I dealt with the customers on a daily basis ensuring they were kept fully informed of the contractors intentions, ensuring safety hoarding and precautions were in place and maintained, requesting and approving method statements of work, reduction of noise by use of out of hours working if or as required, reduction of dust by means of covering sheeting and containment etc. Ensuring of handover certification signed as ‘Approved’ prior closing of covered works.
