Bengaluru's Public Bus Service in Actionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snd67BSU9AUAt Crosslabs, we develop innovative solutions to fully unleash the power of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) data using cutting edge technologies to inform and optimize transit operations.- We have built, from scratch, the proprietary algorithm and analytics platform that integrates the ticketing and positioning data from buses and aids in improving the operational efficiency of a major Indian bus transit agency that owns and operates 6500+ buses, transports 1.8 Billion passengers annually and generates revenue in excess of $325 Million. The insight provided by the platform facilitates an optimized deployment of resources leading to an improvement in financial performance and customer experience.- Developed a platform, for a major government-sponsored transit agency, to monitor the performance of onboard GPS devices and suggest corrective action. The platform enabled the operator to identify issues resulting in potential savings of US $300,000.- Using ITS data we have developed a bus scheduling platform that takes into account traffic variations at different times of the day, including supply and demand constraints, to intelligently provide bus services, improving service levels and reducing redundancies within the system. - We have also built a low-cost scalable analytics platform that enables administrators, at various levels of a transit organization, to obtain, in real-time, information pertaining to the operational performance of the bus fleet. The primary parameters computed are schedule adherence, earnings per kilometer (EPKM) and occupancy ratio (OR) in addition to boarding alighting patterns, origin-destination passenger and fare matrices.Cities: Bengaluru, Surat, Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapatnam
