Beer, Brewing, Breweries and Brewers really sums my career up so far. From starting home brewing with my Dad at 14, my first job in the cellars of an English pub at 16 to opening and operating the first Brewpub in Ontario for the Coutu family at The Atlas Hotel in 1986. From then on it was a succession of opening micro, craft and pub breweries and Brew on Premise stores ( many more firsts along the way), designing systems, components, brew recipes ( about 3,000 to date ) around the world. Army bases by the DMZ, Crusader fort in Cyprus, ex missile factories in the Ukraine ( trained a rocket scientist to brew beer - honest ! ), beaches in the Virgin Islands, too many fun places and interesting people to mention. 108 breweries commissioned, 400 + brewers trained.2010 with Niagara College, started the First Teaching Brewery in Ontario / Canada / N. America and for a college diploma in the World.20 + new brewers out to the industry every year, soon to be expanded to 54 per year when the program goes year round this May.Beer is good.
