Early career as a Civil Engineer with the Centre for Appropriate Technology, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation in Central Australia and Cape York, delivering community planning, appropriate housing and civil infrastructure to improve the lives and wellbeing of remote communities. Worked also in Western Australia, New South Wales and the United Kingdom as a consulting Engineer managing civil infrastructure projects.In 2015 travelled as a Winston Churchill Fellow to the USA, France and UK to meet philanthropists and global environmental organisations that were growing their private supporter base, while governments were reducing funding for public good outcomes.
