About Jonathan D. Watkins

As the Director of Community Outreach I support the work of the YMCA of Frederick County, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. I work in collaboration with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team to assist in the development, implementation and execution of the Association’s Strategic Plan across all departments and branches of the Y, identifying organizational growth opportunities, both in regards to program expansion and new community initiatives.   My first focus will be establishing and maintaining key strategic partnerships with community stakeholders, including leaders in education, business, faith, non-profit, philanthropic, and civic sectors to support the expansion of the YMCA’s footprint throughout Frederick County and surrounding areas.
