Subsequently, I moved to New York, ensuring National Grid finance their US businesses efficiently within the regulation we operate under. During my four years in the US, we spent 2 years developing a complex financial model to adjust funding plans and drive an additional $50m of bottom line profit for National Grid on an annual basis.My next role was at Pearson where I looked after the Treasury and Insurance teams, as well as executing on Enterprise Risk Management activities across the business.
