I am an Atlanta-based video editor and post-production producer. My experience includes branding, marketing, advertising, and content creation. I operate a full-service post-production house that specializes in branded content. How did I get here?!I was born in Northern Virginia, went to school in Pennsylvania, and began my career in New York City. I worked in advertising for over 5 years, primarily in media planning & brand strategy, on accounts such as Jif/Smuckers, Sour Patch Kids/Trident, The Home Depot, and Little Caesars. I loved analyzing data to create consumer stories in order to make media decisions for million dollar brands. Itching to be more involved in the creative process, I jumped out of advertising and into a New York City startup leading all of their content marketing. It was thrilling. At first I thought that this shift would help to fulfill my creative itch... but I soon found out that it only perpetuated it. In 2020 my partner and I started James Post, a post-production house tailored to the very brands that I used to analyze, strategize, and media plan for. What began as a hobby has since spiraled into a career. In 2021 James Post put the pedal down, and our services exploded from video editing, into sound mixing, color grading, GFX, motion, and finishing.
