I'm a civil engineer working for the Bureau of Reclamation in the Technical Service Center in Denver, CO. My time with Reclamation has included final designs of spillways and outlet works, as well as other appurtenant structures required at dam sites. In addition to design work, I've performed many hydraulic and structural analyses of existing structures to determine if the structures hydraulic and/or structural capacities are adequate for current loads. At Reclamation I've frequently utilized SAP2000 for complex structural analyses and I've gained experience drafting in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.I enjoy design work and would like to keep working on unique, specialized projects, similar to the experiences I have received at Reclamation. However, further into my career I would like to transition to project management, as I believe that I would enjoy and could significantly contribute to that aspect of the civil engineering field.
