Assisted with the design and construction of the $52 Million-dollar Raytheon Environmental Testing Facility and the $60 Million-dollar Coca-Cola Tifton Distribution Center. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring the budget and schedule; performing detailed analyses of scope and pricing; reviewing and distributing project drawings and submittal data; identifying, communicating, and resolving design conflicts; processing RFIs and assessing schedule and cost ramifications; scheduling, tracking, and expediting materials; and assisting the superintendent with the implementation of safety and quality programs.

Responsibilities included assisting faculty with non-disclosure agreements, licensing with external parties, technology transferring, economic development, identifying commercial opportunities, preparing invention disclosures, managing the intellectual property processes, and supporting business development efforts.

Developed a wireless sensor network solution that could be utilized to provide a conventional building with an intelligent energy management system. Designed an accelerometer housing to retrofit standard GPS tracking collars. Primary duties included, data analysis, engineering calculations, uncertainty analysis, three dimensional modeling, finite element analysis, and data gathering.

Managed 8 to 10 projects per semester in various locations throughout the United States. Projects ranged from $30,000 to $300,000 dollars with a cumulative average of $1,000,000 dollars managed per semester. Responsibilities included scope of work development, project budgeting, engineering calculations, and contract management.

Assisted the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory on various projects which provided engineering solutions for waterways within the United States.
