In this role, I engage in various projects, leveraging my personal experiences to help shape initiatives aimed at reducing suicide rates and providing support to those affected by suicide.

Head Of MarketingInstitute Of Occupational Medicine (Iom) May 2019 - May 2020Edinburgh, GbI was recruited by IOM on a one year fixed term contract to deliver the events around the 50th Anniversary of the Institute. Over 2019 I produced and delivered a wide-ranging creative campaign to help celebrate IOM’s 50th anniversary.From environmental and public health advancements to natural disaster prevention and public policy influence, IOM has caused an unprecedented amount of positive change to the world through research and work over the last half-century. Working with a design agency in Glasgow I oversaw the production of 50 unique pieces of digital artwork which were launched at an event hosted at the Scottish Parliament. The creative campaign was designed to celebrate this, with a strong digital focus to ensure we generated as much awareness and coverage of the work as possible. The digital activity covered the website, organic social media and paid channels as well, delivering various forms of the creative assets to target audiences primarily through Google, LinkedIn and Twitter ads the digital and social channels where IOM are most active.Key Results: • Paid Social impressions - 568,764• Video views – 100,759• Social Growth – 150% of target• 300 attendees at the launch eventMy experience of lobbying and engaging with the Government meant I was able to secure Deputy First Minister John Swinney MSP as the keynote speaker at the launch. Introductions made at the event have directly benefited IOMs engagement with the Scottish Government and Chief Scientist Office.In addition during my year, I have also led a project to develop the Institute’s value proposition and brand purpose in a series of workshops with each section. This has led to the introduction of a new sales process and developed internal collateral to accompany these changes.I also managed the publication of IOM’s history – A coffee table book detailing the last 50 years of IOM. -
