While trekking across China, I stopped by a village near Guilin. There was a restaurant offering "burritos," which I had to try because my first job was cooking in a Mexican restaurant (Casa Bonita of South Park fame). The sauce was terrible, so one of the locals took me by motorcycle to a market, where I loaded up on veggies. I then taught a Chinese village how to make salsa. This is how I approach life and work... exploration, adventure, always learning, helping others. I can't sit still, which is probably why I've lived abroad and in 7 states. I also grew up playing many different sports, which makes me competitive and driven. A former editor of the Los Angeles Times said there should be a picture of me in the dictionary under the word tenacious. Examples:- #1 in meetings booked, sat and also new revenue generated each year at Chatmeter.- In 2022, booked more new revenue than 27 other BDRs, combined.- Brought in 6 of the company's 8 largest clients.- Helped launch 4 startups, 2 based in Europe. One of which sold for $100 Million. For the first part of my career, I was in the news business, focused on business news. More recently, I've been in sales. The former made me great at research, which has also made me great at connecting with buyers. In addition to making salsa, I also love to help make companies grow. Let's talk: joninaz@gmail.com
