• I had the role of an assembly engineer.
• I was paired with another employee and was tasked with removing machinery off the production line, assembling them and preparing them for storage.
• Examples of machinery I assembled include: flat-bed trailers, toppers, yard scrapers, dung spreaders and shear grabs.
• Quality control was also an important part of my role.
• Through this experience I learned about the inner-workings of an engineering firm, the management structure and how to work as part of a team in the workplace.
